Welcome to the Vertigo Games Blog 2.0!
Phase one of our complete site overhaul is complete! Welcome to the new blog! Lots of new changes here, so let’s go through them a bit.
First off, Gravatars have now replaced our old avatar system. Gravatars can be used in tons of different blogs across the blogosphere, and you can register for one just by replying to this post and checking off the box below. Woo!
Secondly, this new blog has been upgraded from 2.3 to 2.7, and is much more widget-friendly, so I can add new stuff whenever I’d like. If you guys want something in the blog, such as a rating system for posts, then let me know. Anything is possible at this point!
I’m still tinkering with much of the blog so it’s not 100% just yet, but it’s getting there. Later this week the website will be done and I’ll go into more detail about that, the new Store, and our first puzzle pack for Spirits of Metropolis. Till then, post away some ideas for the blog! Twitter? Ratings? I’m up for just about anything. 😀
vertigogaming.net Downtime This Week
Just a quick note that I’m going to be in the process of converting the old site into the new and improved website that Garion has created for us. There will be some slight hitches here and there for this coming week, but I think its a major improvement and I can’t wait till its all done. The forums will be unaffected by the switch, and the Blog will be down for the upgrade from 2.3 to 2.7. Thanks everybody!

greenTech 2.0 now available!
Just a quick heads up that greenTech 2.0 is now available on the YoYo Games website and right here on vertigogaming.net! With this new version you’ll find more music, 24 unlockable monitors, more features and some tightened up code. Woo!
Just a quick side note, but the website redesign is coming along and should be done within a few weeks. At that point greenTech will also be available via installer. Sorry about the delay, but there’s been a few mishaps with the SQL databases. Not that I know what I’m doing; thankfully Garion is on top of all that. 🙂
