ShellBlastHD Approved. Celebration Imminent.
Optum just informed me that ShellBlast HD is approved for the Indie Games service and will be available in 48 hours to buy! Woo! So if I were you, I’d be watching this blog starting tonight for a complete overhaul in the design, as well as daily posts for a whole week telling you all about ShellBlast HD, some wallpapers, level packs, and even a few extra surprises. I hope you join us for the entire week! 🙂
Had to be on the first week of school…oh well, maybe I can convince some 360 owners to try it out.
I assume there’s a demo? I’m not familiar with the Indie Games system, since I don’t have 360.
WOW 🙂 Hurrrah Hurrrah Hurrrrah Hurrrrrah 🙂
Great News Chubi 🙂 Wish goodluck to you 🙂
Huzzah!
Pete, ready the party flash!
@ UltimateAgent:
Sorry it had to be on the first week of school, the submission process turned out to be quite an ordeal.
All community games have a trial available, where the game will play for 8 minutes before kicking you out. It is up to the creators to decide what they restrict in the trial version, if anything.
In the Shellblast HD demo you are able to play the first ten levels of Classic Mode as well as Shelldrop and the SImulation Chamber.
And what David has planned for the next seven days is pretty darn cool so everyone watch out!
So, this community games thing… do I have to download a separate application or anything in order to play the game? Also, do I need a gold membership to buy the game?
I don’t use the online function of my 360 very much, thanks to the lack of built-in wireless functionality, so I don’t know these things. I’ll be happy to hook up an ethernet cable for Shellblast, though! 😀
Yay! Now i just need a 360 😛
If it’s really successful you should port it to wiiware.
Nope you do not need anything else in order to download the game, an ethernet cable will do just fine. Just head to the Game Marketplace and it should soon be in the Indie Games section.

I think it’ safe to say both Optum and I are ready for new things other than another port of ShellBlast. :p
Bam! The celebration begins, and the trailer debuts tomorrow. Hope you guys like the nifty new theme!
Man I wish I paid attention to my RSS feeds.
I noticed THREE DAYS LATE again!!!
