Kablooey!: I’m Going For It (plus ShellBlast HD update)
The folks at 2BeeGames are having another indie game competition, with the stakes at $10,000 again. I’ve decided to go for it: I’m going to get Kablooey done by the September 15th deadline.
That’s the goal anyways. It’s one that I’m fairly confident I can meet, as about half of Kablooey has been completed. So, wish me luck on this…I’m gonna need it!
This does mean that SOG: Remastered will be pushed back a bit until I can get this game done, but I’m sure you guys understand. I only get once chance at this, and I want to focus my attention fully on Kablooey. Speaking of which, check out the snazzy new logo done by artist Sara Gross…thanks Sara!
Now, this Kablooey work won’t prevent me from having fun with the release of ShellBlast HD on the Xbox Live Indie Games channel. There have been a few delays with the process of review that’s done with the game, but I’m pretty confident the game will be approved by the end of next week. The game itself is completely done (Optum is actually already at work with another project), but this whole submission to Xbox Indie is new to myself and Optum, so please bear with us. As soon as it’s on the Xbox channel we’ll kick off the festivities on the blog the very next day…so keep watchin for it!
Also, I plan to announce the price of Kablooey this week. It’s a price I think everyone will really like.
