June Contest Results!
A few weeks ago I asked what you guys thought on how Kablooey! was played. It’s now time to unveil who got the closest…
…the winner is Ultimate Agent! Let’s read his entry again:
Maybe itβs a simulator that you must drag objects to spots on the map to create chain reactions through explosions or something. Like a Goldberg machine that explodes.
This is the closest entry I have seen that matches the outline of the game. Just contact me via the Contact Box (or PM me in the forums) to claim your prize, UltimateAgent. Woo!
Kablooey! is a game that focuses squarely in one city, on one building. The objective: destroy that building. The catch: you have no control over any part of the city…except grabbing two items and combining them together. Perhaps the combination will bring you closer to the goal. Now, having control over a roll of electrical tape and a box of doughnuts doesn’t really sound like they’d help explode a building…but maybe we could try giving the cops a doughnut. Or combining the box of doughnuts and a tree to make…a tree full of doughnuts. Wait, that doesn’t help at all! Hmmm…
I know this sounds really strange, but it makes a ton more sense once the game is finished. With over one hundred items to choose from and a limited time to use them…it’s going to be a bit crazy. More info later this month!
something like the sandbox of god?
Wow that sounds…crazily awesome! Sandbox of God was always my favourite VG game in terms of game play, so anything like it is pure win.
I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. Chubs is like Miyamoto, at first his ideas seem crazy, but as soon as they’re put into practice everything suddenly makes sense.
That does sound great. Reminds me of SoG, in terms of sheer number of interactions and work required to create them. I’m intrigued to see how you pull them all off. Very excited.
Wow… that could be one of the most original ideas I’ve heard in a long time.
I’m pumped. π
Sounds awesome!
