I really loved what Jonathan has created here, and there’s some really great tracks that echo the Oil Blue’s feeling of loneliness and the deep void of space (my favorites: Star Tripper and Great Dark Spot).

You can buy the soundtrack at a pay what you want scale, with the minimum being $2.99. Here’s what he had to say on his blog:

“I’ve just released my original soundtrack for Vertigo Gaming’s Neptune Gasoline. Unfortunately, there is no game to go along with the music as of yet. David had to put this project on the sidelines to concentrate on other things. You can read more about it on his blog if you’re interested in all the nitty gritty details of his decision to shelve it. Maybe someday he’ll return to it, but for now you’ll just have to put on this soundtrack and imagine what it might be like.”
